I recently came across some sort of collection of photographic dialogues between humans, and in some cases animals. I was disappointed to see that there were no dragons; but I was curious nonetheless.
I found it on the kitchen counter of a house I had just broken into to see if there were any sheep inside (sometimes the clever humans hide their sheep indoors while they’re off to work). I tried to get the resident cat to tell me what this strange document was, but he wouldn’t, so I ate him.
I took this strange artifact to my lair and looked through it, and I came across a very silly bit that was too good not to share with my fellow dragons:
Sometimes the non-fiery peoples can be just too cute. Of course he doesn’t know what etchings are; he isn’t a dragon.
Etchings, as most of you undoubtedly already know, are the abrasions left on one’s underbelly after a fight with another dragon. It really is too bad that our friend here didn’t have any etchings, because if he did that female would be all over him in two shakes of a cat’s tail. All the ladies love etchings.
I learned later on from one of my city-dragon friends that my find was called a “comic” and was meant to be entertaining. I didn’t find anything particularly entertaining about it, so I decided to create a replacement that would be entertaining. Hope you enjoy!
